"I've always been drawn to statement pieces, bright colours, patterns or asymmetrical cuts," she says ,"with the wave of colour blocking coming in the last few years I feel like I've really been able to have fun with that and make it my 'thing' whilst making it wearable." When it comes to her own inspiration, Tara-Jade loves Leonie Hanne and Tara Maynard as they experiment with colour in a classy but fun way. "I used to wear bland clothes to kind of fade into the background and 'blend in' because I was so scared of standing out even more than I already did because of my height. Then one day I thought why should I? It wasn't making me happy and now I just wear whatever I want," Alice says. When it comes to confidence in your height, Alice says this cane take time: "I hated being tall growing up, but now I love it. Your height is one of the only things you cannot change, who wants to live their life hating one of the main things about there appearance?"
