There's no feeling like putting on a pair of flattering jeans that fit perfectly and gives you legs for days. However this feeling is few and far between, especially when you're tall. The mere thought of trying jeans on in a tiny, overly lit mirrored changing cubical makes my skin crawl. A good pair of jeans is hard to come by at the best of times; if the waist fits, then the thighs don't, and when you're tall you have the added pressure of finding the perfect length. Recently though, I've been finding some luck when it comes to buying jeans as a tall girl and am loving being able to wear them more. Now I'm not going to gatekeep here, since we're all friends, so I've compiled a list of some of the best jeans on the market that are tall girl approved.
First lets start with the holy grail that is Zara jeans. For a while I was apprehensive about Zara, everyone and the mum seems to be shopping there now, and I totally understand why. My first piece of advice when it comes to Zara would be to scrap going in-store and head straight online to their website. Personally, I find their stores chaos, clothes flung everywhere, not to mention the longest queues at the checkout known to history. Some styles I particularly like and have found great for long legs are their high-rise Straight Jeans and if you're after that 90s look, these wide leg jeans are a perfect addition to your wardrobe.
Another brand I've been loving for jeans has been Stradivarius. With multiple stores across the UK as well as being stocked on ASOS and their own website, their jeans have really been a game-changer for me. One of personal favourites is their tall slim mom jeans. These jeans are great because they are long and also come in multiple shades of denim, so if you're after light-wash or black denim, there's something for everyone. For a more casual, slouchy look Stradivarius' Dad jeans are perfect. Pair with an oversized blazer, white tank and trainers and you've a chic day-to-night look. You'll have to be quick to nab them up though, as they always seem to be out of stock!
A brand that can't be forgotten is ASOS. Their own brand designs offer a tall range which includes lots of jeans. A personal staple I've found is their tall high-rise mom jeans, I own a pair in black but their are multiple shades to choose from and they might be some of the comfiest jeans I own.
Whilst their stores are gone, we can't neglect the cult classic that is Topshop jeans, circa 2014 their Joni jeans has us all in a chokehold and for good reason. Available on the ASOS website, Topshop jeans have still got it all these years later, my favourites being their Tall Organic Cotton Mom Jeans.
Lastly, Bershka jeans are great for taller girls. With almost all their jeans available in tall, regular and petite fit, you really can't go wrong. I own their flared jeans and have found myself constantly gravitating towards wearing them. They are the most flattering jeans, with the flared style making your legs look 10x longer.
